As part of Haberfield Public School’s holistic approach to every child’s education all students receive ongoing and sequential Music Education lessons from Kindergarten to Year 6

String ensembles

Haberfield Public School has 2 string ensembles Junior and Senior Strings.

Both groups perform regularly st school events. The senior strings performs in the Arts Unit Fesitival of Instrumental Music each year at the Sydney Opera House.

Guitar and Rock Band

Haberfield Public School has a Guitar ensemble and a Rock Band

Wind Band Information

Students learning a wind, brass, guitaer, keyboard, percussion or drums in years 1 to 6 can join one of the 3 school bands. The Bands perform regularly at school & community events.

To join any band students need to attend appropriate rehearsals regularly, practice & have individual lessons at school or privately arranged outside of school.
