Our school values strong partnerships with our families and community. Parents and carers can get involved through our Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) or by volunteering at our school. Your time and support help make our school a better place for everyone.
Parents and Citizens Association (P&C)
Our P&C is a vibrant community comprising parents, carers, and members of our community, all united by a common goal: to enrich the educational experience at Haberfield Public School (HPS). Regular P&C meetings serve as a platform for collaborative decision-making, policy development, and the pursuit of grant opportunities, alongside fundraising endeavours.
Joining the P&C a great way to meet other families, get involved and contribute to our school's future. We would love to have you on board!

P&C meetings
We encourage you to make your voice heard. Whether through joining our P&C, attending meetings, participating in working groups, or reaching out via email, there are numerous avenues for involvement.
There are two meetings per term held in Week 4 (onsite and online) and Week 8 (online only) on Tuesday night.
Meetings are held at school in the OSHC HUB (left of the basketball court).
P&C Association Annual General Meeting (AGM)
The Annual General Meeting is held once a year. At this meeting, our P&C Executive are elected for the forthcoming year, by attending parents that are financial members of our school P&C.

Fundraising for Purpose
Central to our mission is fundraising to improve our school’s environment and resources. Recently, funds raised by our P&C have facilitated upgrades to outdoor learning spaces, acquisition of literacy and numeracy resources, the installation of a yarning circle, a First Nations mural, outdoor play equipment, new library furniture, sports equipment, musical instruments, and the provision of numerous other resources that benefit our students.
Our P&C Fundraising groups take the lead in organising captivating events that unite our school community, fostering a sense of togetherness while also raising funds to enhance our school environment.
