Girls in the science fair

During the science fair, girls had the opportunity to demonstrate their scientific knowledge and public speaking skills for students, parents and teachers. It was wonderful to see the confidence emanating from the girls, from Kindergarten through to high school, as they shared their passion for science.

Concord High Girls lend a hand at science fair

a student from Concord High School is helping out kids at the science fair.

In 2017, Haberfield’s science fair had the addition of some high school stalls from Concord High students. What’s more, over 50% of the attending high school students were girls. This provided a great opportunity for our primary girls to see the interesting science on offer in high school and the benefits of selecting science as a subject.
